Shipping Policy

BuffaloAlarm.com partners with trusted retailers and fulfillment centers to deliver smart security products nationwide. This policy outlines how products ship, estimated delivery times, and what to expect when ordering through our platform.

1. Shipping Partners & Fulfillment

Most products ordered through BuffaloAlarm.com affiliate links are fulfilled directly by the manufacturer or authorized retailer (Amazon, Ring, Arlo, SimpliSafe, etc.). Buffalo Alarm does not maintain a central warehouse. Shipping methods, carriers, and delivery estimates are determined by the retail partner processing your order.

For local installation customers in the Buffalo, MN and Twin Cities area, equipment may be hand-delivered by our installation team during your scheduled setup appointment at no additional shipping charge.

2. Shipping Rates & Times

  • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days (free on orders over $35 through most partners)
  • Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days (rates vary by retailer)
  • Priority Shipping: 1-2 business days (rates vary by retailer)
  • Local Installation Delivery: Same-day or next-day hand delivery within Buffalo, Maple Lake, Monticello, St. Michael, and surrounding Wright County areas

Delivery estimates are provided by the retailer at checkout and are not guaranteed by BuffaloAlarm.com. During peak seasons (November through January), shipping times may extend by 2-3 business days.

3. Order Processing

Orders placed through our affiliate partners typically process within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email and tracking number directly from the fulfillment retailer. Buffalo Alarm does not process payments or have access to your order tracking — all fulfillment communications come from the retailer you purchased from.

4. Shipping Restrictions

Some products may not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain international destinations. Restrictions are determined by the individual retailer and will be clearly indicated at checkout. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may incur additional shipping fees or extended delivery times.

5. Local Installation Equipment Delivery

For customers booking professional installation through Buffalo Alarm, equipment may be sourced through our wholesale accounts or purchased by you directly. If we procure equipment on your behalf, delivery to your property is included in the installation fee for addresses within 25 miles of Buffalo, MN. Properties beyond this radius may incur a modest travel fee, disclosed in your quote.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

BuffaloAlarm.com is not responsible for packages lost, damaged, or stolen after delivery. Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be filed directly with the retailer or shipping carrier. We recommend requiring signature confirmation for orders over $250 and utilizing secure delivery locations.
